ECEWS Conducts Official Visit and Training at CDCR FMC Asaba

The Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS), a non-profit organization, recently paid an official visit to the Center for Disease Control and Research (CDCR) at Federal Medical Center (FMC) Asaba on the 3rd of March, 2025. The visit, led by Miss Uche Okudo, aimed to strengthen collaboration and support for public health initiatives.

Training on GeneXpert Machine
During the visit, ECEWS conducted comprehensive training and retraining for laboratory personnel on the GeneXpert machine donated to the center. The 16-module machine will significantly enhance the center's diagnostic capabilities, enabling more accurate and efficient testing for various diseases.

Strengthening Healthcare Delivery
The ECEWS visit and training underscore the importance of partnerships between healthcare institutions and non-profit organizations in improving healthcare delivery. The donation of the GeneXpert machine and training of personnel will likely have a positive impact on patient care and public health outcomes in the region.
