Pathology Team

A Consultant Medical Microbiologist with interest in Clinical Bacteriology and Antimicrobial Resistance. The pioneer Medical Microbiologist at FMC Asaba, had a stint at the college of Medicine Afebabalola University (ABUAD) where he was a Consultant/Lecturer in the institution.

Had his undergraduate training at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-ife Osun state. He also completed his postgraduate study in the same institution and was awarded a fellowship in Pathology by the National postgraduate Medical college of Nigeria.

Currently working as a Consultant Medical Microbiologist at F.M.C Asaba and the team lead of the laboratory wing of the CDCR.

Vision

Our vision is to build the capacity of the centre and ensure state of the art laboratory investigations to enable us manage adequately emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
