Dr. Osiatuma Victor was born on the 29th of April, 1970 in Benin City to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Benson and Roseline Osiatuma Nwaoligbo of Idumu-Odume, in Ogbe-Onihe quarters of Atuma-Iga in Oshimili North L. G. A. of Delta State.

He attended Eresoyen Primary School Ogbeson in Benin City before proceeding to Western Boys High School also in Benin City for his secondary education.

He gained admission into the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he obtained the bachelor of surgery and bachelor of medicine degree in 1997. He did his housemanship at the Warri Central Hospital in Delta State before proceeding for the National Youth Service in Osun state.

He joined the employ of the Federal Medical Centre Asaba in 2001 as a medical officer. He had his Residency training at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) and became a fellow of the National postgraduate medical college of Nigeria in 2008.

He was appointed Consultant in 2008 and became the head of the department of Radiology in 2009.
Was appointed deputy head of clinical services and training as well as the postgraduate training coordinator in the hospital in 2010, a position he held for 4 years before his appointment as the Head of clinical services and training in 2014.

He succeeded his boss Dr. Leo Erhunmwunsee as the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba in June 2015 in acting capacity before his appointment was eventually confirmed in 2017.

He is a fellow of the International College of Surgeons and holds a postgraduagte diploma in management.
He is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Vivien Ijeoma Osiatuma and they are blessed with two lovely kids – Chantelle and Buchi Osiatuma.

He is a Christian and his hobbies are football and tennis.

He has won numerous awards and recognition from various bodies amongst whom are the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Asaba, The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Medical Centre Asaba, Rotary International, Egbe Omo Oduduwa (FMC, Asaba Chapter), Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria FMC Asaba Chapter, Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria (APHPN), Frontline News Asaba, Global Legend Media, The Internaltional Association of Lions Club, the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, and others too numerous to mention.

He is currently the representative of the Federal Medical Centres in Nigeria on the exco of the committee of chief medical Directors and Medical Directors of federal tertiary health institutions in Nigeria.
