At Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Asaba, we recognize that sustainable healthcare advancement is achieved through meaningful partnerships. This commitment was once again demonstrated on 18th June 2026 with the commissioning of the newly reconstructed Theatre Pharmacy, a project made possible through a strategic collaboration between FMC Asaba and Fidson Healthcare PLC. The commissioning ceremony was hosted by the Medical Director, Dr. Ekeneam Omo, and attended by members of the management team, member of the Fidson Group, staff, and key stakeholders. The reconstructed Theatre Pharmacy represents more than a physical infrastructure upgrade; it is a testament to what can be achieved when healthcare institutions and corporate partners unite around a common goal—improving patient care. Speaking at the event, the Managing Director, Dr. Ekeneam Omo, emphasized the importance of partnership in driving innovation, strengthening healthcare systems, and creating lasting impact for patients and communities. Furthermore, he stated that this was not just a building but an opportunity to save more lives and ensure that the right drugs in the right doses are available at the right time. Together, FMC Asaba and Fidson Healthcare PLC are demonstrating that when organizations share a vision for excellence, partnerships become catalysts for progress, innovation, and better health outcomes for all.
