In commemoration of his birthday, Pastor Emeka Harrison Umeana, Convener of Indwelling Initiative and Chairman of Sahara Spring Real Estate Co. Ltd and Davepark Oil and Gas Ltd, led a team to Federal Medical Centre, Asaba on 12th July, 2026. The group paid outstanding hospital bills for all admitted patients and cleared debts for discharged patients unable to leave due to financial constraints. They also offered prayers and encouragement to patients, families, and hospital staff. The visit was peaceful and orderly. Patients and relatives expressed appreciation. No security breach was recorded. The Medical Director, Dr. Ekeneam Omo received the team at the end of the visit and commended their humanitarian efforts. The gesture is laudable and brought relief to many. It is recommended that such humanitarian efforts be acknowledged and that duty rosters be reviewed to ensure representation at events of this nature for documentation and security coverage. The visitation was successful and impactful.
