BACKGROUND* The Management of Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, led by *Dr. Ekeneam Omo*, hosted a delegation from *Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS)*. The visit was in collaboration with *Delta State Government* and *US CDC*. ECEWS is an NGO implementing HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other public health programs in Nigeria with support from *USAID/PEPFAR*. *OBJECTIVES* 1. Assess program performance 2. Review facility data, patient outcomes and documentation 3. Provide technical support and address challenges 4. Strengthen partnership for improved service delivery *KEY OBSERVATIONS & ENGAGEMENTS* - *Stakeholder Remarks:* - *Dr. Rudolf Hobson, DELSACA:* Reaffirmed Delta State Government’s support for HIV/AIDS response. - *Dr. Johnson Fagbamigbe, US CDC:* Commended FMC Asaba for improved service delivery. - *Dr. Ekeneam Omo, MD FMC:* Appreciated ECEWS for commodities, capacity building and funding. Pledged to implement recommendations for patient-centered care. - *Facility Assessment Led by Dr. Anselm Audu, ECEWS:* 1. *ART/HIV Clinic:* Good appointment keeping, viral load coverage and retention reviewed. 2. *Pharmacy:* ARVs, test kits and commodity stock levels assessed. 3. *Laboratory:* HIV testing, CD4 and viral load referral system reviewed. 4. *TB & PMTCT Units:* Screening, linkage and documentation checked. *CONCLUSION & WAY FORWARD* The visit was successful and reaffirmed strong collaboration between FMC Asaba, Delta State, ECEWS and US CDC. FMC Management committed to addressing identified gaps and implementing recommendations to sustain quality, patient-centered services in the fight against HIV/AIDS and other public health challenges.
