Today, 25th April, 2026, serves as a global reminder of the urgent need to eliminate malaria. A disease that remains both preventable and treatable, yet continues to pose a major public health challenge. Significant progress has been made over the years; however, malaria still disproportionately affects vulnerable populations, particularly in Africa. Sustained awareness, prevention, and timely treatment are critical to reducing its impact. Key Preventive Measures Include: ????️ Consistent use of insecticide-treated mosquito nets to protect against mosquito bites, especially at night ???? Environmental sanitation to eliminate stagnant water and reduce mosquito breeding sites ???? Early diagnosis and prompt treatment to prevent complications and stop the spread Ending malaria requires collective action from individuals, communities, and institutions. Together, we can move closer to a malaria-free world. Zero malaria starts with all of us ????????
